I'm asking you for help and have a question as to whether this is also the case for you:
My printer automatically starts chattering and rattling exactly 30 seconds after a print job (cleaning? locking the print head? ink flushing?), which then lasts 44 seconds. And this happens EVERY time a print job is paused for 30 seconds afterwards. So if I want to print several documents individually and I need more than 30 seconds to find the next document and start printing, then I have to wait 44 seconds. And if I print out a print job 100 times a day, the jumble also appears 100 times a day 30 seconds later, even if I have only printed 1 sheet. Not only is this a colossal pain in the arse and keeps blocking my workflow because it forces me to wait, it also seems completely unnecessary and probably wastes ink. Once in a while is okay, but not dozens of times a day after every print job, even if it's only 1 sheet.
Is this the same for you or is my Canon GX 7050 defective?
So far I have only received terse general answers from Canon Service and no concrete answer to the question of whether it is normal for the printer to jam every time. I suspect and hope that I have a faulty device and that this is not normal otherwise I will soon go mad from the constant noise... So please let me know if this is also the case for you. Thank you very much.
