If the printer displays an error message that the toner cartridge is empty and needs to be replaced, would it be possible to continue printing with some kind of "reset" function. I mean if I don't have a new cartridge with me I can still get the job done but with a slightly poor quality. With my current HP1102w I can print until I can no longer tolerate the quality. Thank you.

Actually. It didn't work for me . It absolutely needs new toner .

Of course it would be possible for the manufacturer to make this possible. However, the manufacturer has no great interest in this, as he essentially earns money with the consumables.
