Question about SanDisk Ultra Fit

I am quite happy with it, but it has a structural weakness: the plastic part below the USB socket
tends to break (I have had two and the same thing happened to me). Otherwise, it is very comfortable for the size. regarding performance (read/write speed), I honestly never had time to look into this.
