I would like to use a switchable socket. Does the Audioengine switch on automatically when power is supplied or is it mandatory to operate an on/off switch?

I disconnected the power for a little more than 1min. The unit starts up without any further action and works without any problems when connected.

I control it via a controlled socket. As soon as there is power, it connects without any problems.
