Question about Canon PIXMA TS8250

I would like to know if A4 can be printed borderless. The specs say: "Page margin: 0 mm top, 0 mm right, 0 mm bottom, 0 mm left (Where margin is specified. Otherwise: 3 mm top, left, right and bottom)". What does "where margin is set" mean?
