I would like to connect the bundle to a Macbook 12 (1.2 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core m5). Is that possible? Do I still need additional cables?

The monitor has one input each of the type VGA, HDMI, DisplayPort and a cable 'DisplayPort - DisplayPort' is included. If there is a DisplayPort output on the Macbook or on an existing docking station, this will fit. Otherwise, you will probably need a USB-C dock with one or possibly two DisplayPort outputs ...
