Question about HP DisplayPort auf HDMI
I would like to connect a Hdmi cable to an old Asus screen. Is it possible with this part?

This adapter is designed to connect a notebook/PC with a Displayport output to a monitor that has an HDMI input. If, as your question suggests, your monitor does not have an HDMI input, then this adapter is of no use to you.
You should already say what signal type / input socket your monitor has, otherwise we can't help you here.
