Question about Delock Switchbox 2x2 Port Displayport

I would like to be able to connect a PC and a laptop to two monitors and switch with this switchbox. Unfortunately, my laptop doesn't have any display port connections, only an HDMI connection. Is there a suitable adapter that you can plug into the HDMI socket and then connect two display port cables over it? Unfortunately I haven't found anything.

My experience shows that 2x 2 devices, if only one has a DisplayPort, does not work satisfactorily.
With the HDMI counterpart it works with my configuration (2 monitors HDMI, laptop 2 DisplayPort, PC 1x HDMI/ DisplayPort each). However, I operate both monitors with both devices in dual monitor mode.
