Question about ASUS ROG Swift PG258Q
I want a second screen for my setup, but I don't know if this one is suitable as my current screen (PG348Q) is less powerful than this one, is this one suitable or are there better alternatives?
This monitor is an absolutely uncompromising gaming monitor for competitive online games. That means extremely high refresh rate, low latency, nvidia g-sync, but relatively low resolution and relatively poor picture quality due to TN panel. But it is extremely expensive. For a second monitor, I can't imagine it at all, unless you really need it as a gaming monitor for this purpose. Then I can recommend it without reservation.
Unfortunately, I can't recommend a product to you, but for your purposes, something up to 150 francs is definitely enough and you may even have better picture quality thanks to the IPS panel if you don't need it for gaming.
This is a good monitor with 240Hz panel.ideal for shooters and fast games.the resolution for a 2nd screen to the PG348q but is a little low,I would take 2560x1440.with a 2k monitor eg PG278q you still have 144Hz and the difference to 240 Hz I could not really notice.
