Der Nachfolger des PG248Q kommt in neuem Gewand und zeigt den futuristischen Stil des von ASUS getauften Plasma-Copper-Looks, den wir bereits beim PG348Q gesehen haben. In Sachen Verarbeitung und Ergonomie hat sich hingegen nichts geändert. Es wird der gleiche hohe Standard geboten, wie wir ihn von der ROG-Reihe gewohnt sind...
Nur Durchschnitt - im Test erreicht der Monitor Asus ROG Swift PG258Q ein mittelmäßiges Gesamtergebnis mit 70,7 Punkten. Ein starkes Ergebnis erreicht der Testkandidat im Bereich Ergonomie - dort überzeugt es unserer Tester besonders. Wenig überzeugend ist das Gerät in Sachen Ausstattung - unsere Labormessungen zeigen hier deutliche Schwächen im Vergleich zur Konkurrenz...
Der ROG Swift PG258Q von Asus hat sich im Test als beeindruckender Monitor erwiesen. Er braucht zum Erreichen von 240 Hertz weder Tricks wie seinerzeit der Eizo Foris FG2421, noch ist die maximale Hertzzahl wie beim Vorgänger PG248Q nur per Übertaktung und bei Inkaufnahme von sichtbaren Lichthöfen zu erreichen...
