Question about DJI Mavic Pro
I took off today with my 2 week old Mavic from a launch platform in the snow. Already after take-off it started to sway a lot (although there was no wind) and went from side to side. I tried to land it as fast as possible, but it didn't obey me properly, took on a life of its own and crashed into the snow from 1 metre. It smelled burnt afterwards. A propeller seems to be blocked now. What can I do? Actually, I expect this to go under warranty.
Was the GPS really green? This happened to me once because the GPS signal was not yet green. But I stopped again immediately
stopped again, so nothing happened.
Very unusual. This could actually be a probe or motor problem. In any case, contact DJI for a fault analysis and possible warranty claim. I now have almost 200 trouble-free and accident-free flying hours.
I have never had such an effect. The snow hardly plays a role. If I were you, I would file the case under warranty.
