Hello Kroki97, that works very well. I have been doing it myself for many years. What you need is a printer that supports the function: Scan to network. 1.
1. set up a shared drive on your Synology NAS, with user name/password
2. test that you can access it from your PC (then you already know it works)
3. set up the printer, with the Synology you have to specify a network path which points to your NAS, it should look like this: \NAME-NAS\ORDNER-NAME (as defined in step one)
Make sure your printer supports this, not everyone does. I have an HP Pro MFP M476dn and it works very well.
