Question about Nothing Ear (1)

I received the Nothing Ear(1) about a week ago. However, I have the following problem: Sometimes a high frequency noise just randomly comes out of the headphones, it's much louder than the headphones normally and when you have them in your ear you have tinitus for 30 minutes. The noise lasts for about 3 seconds. And the software is up to date. I can't use them normally without fear of being startled by a 1500hz noise and then having ear damage. Is this serious or is it just me?

The behaviour you describe does not occur with my headphones. Occasionally, the NE1s crackle a little. Also not nice, occurs especially when ANC is deactivated, but is definitely not as loud as you describe. If I were you, I would look into making a warranty claim...
