Question about Bose SoundSport

I picked up my headphones half a week ago. They work perfectly. Great sound and good grip. However, the rubber connecting the headphones and the cable squeaks when I move them quickly, which is very annoying. Does anyone know about this problem? Can I report this as a warranty claim?

I have been using the device almost daily in the gym for a year. About 2 hours per day. I don't know the problem described. Everything is ok with me. The only thing is that the battery is only charged to about 80%. That's enough for about 3.5 hours. I would send your part in, because it is not exactly cheap.
