Question about Crockpot Crock-Pot Express

I just received the Crock-pot express, and my unit doesnt have holes in the handles to stick the lid in (even the crock pot on the box picture has them) - why is this?

I was wondering the same. Saw in a few video that you can stick the lid there after opening the pot to not need extra space. But mine doesn't have them either...

You Don’t need the holes. You have to twist it in place to close.
