I just can't understand why Astro can't finally bring the 5th generation for the PS5 and Series X to market. It's been almost three years since the launch of the new consoles, and they just can't get it right. It was my favourite headset on the PS4, but now I have to switch to inferior headsets. Since the PS5 unfortunately doesn't have an optical audio output/input, the best audio experience can't be transmitted. Ask Astro Gaming if it's not in their interest to make money. I always thought that was the main goal of a company.

I have been using this headset since the release of the PS5.it connects easily via the USB port of the PS and works perfectly.this headset does not need an optical output.
