I installed the Dabman i410 today, but the device crashes every time when searching for a weather station and restarts. Manual input via the menu button does not work when selecting (Zurich) either. Is this a known problem?
Yes, unfortunately the device often reboots without motivation. It often gets stuck in the 01-01-2000 00:00 state. After switching off and on again, it (almost) always works again. I keep it anyway because it works well most of the time...
The device does not crash, but no weather is displayed, only the search message. No weather is displayed either when I enter a city or town in the search function. Is this a known problem? Does anyone have the weather displayed?
also crashes. But that's not important for me. Connection to upc/sunrise cable network and router. All other functions work. Attention, does not accept special characters in the wifi password!
Mine is also in a reboot loop
I have not experienced this problem. I have however had problems when selecting a Internet radio channel that when it is selected, it attempts to load but within 2-3s, moves back to the internet radio icon.
The weather display works for me if I hold down the menu button, then enter the location (Zurich) with the keyboard and then switch the device off and on again and, if necessary, select the weather again with the menu button.
Until a couple of weeks ago the radio worked perfectly, including the weather forecast. Then it lost connection with the weather server and since then it sometimes shuts down unexpectedly. I have tried resetting the software to factory settings but nothing changes. The most obnoxious thing is that it is not possible to download the software/firmware updates that would probably solve the problem, since the company Telestar (https://www.telestar.de/), manufacturer of the radio, seems to have gone bankrupt (https://www.facebook.com/TelestarDi...). I'll wait a few more days to see what happens, but I'm seriously considering returning the radio. It's a shame, because the reception, both DAB and Internet, is excellent.
