Question about Energizer Power Station PPS960W1

I haven't read it explicitly anywhere; can I connect a solar panel? Can the device then take over the charge controller function for it? I think my existing 60 watt panel simply has terminals; I can already connect a DC plug to it, can't I? My plan is to charge this power station with the 60W panel. I realise that this will take forever. But that doesn't matter, as it's about my hut and there are usually 2 weeks between visits. The LiFePO₄ should actually cope well with the coldest temperatures to be expected (approx. 0°C, it never gets colder inside). Most of the year it will probably be between 5 and 10°C.

Yes, you can connect a solar panel to the Energizer Power Station PPS960W1. The Power Station has a DC solar input with an integrated MPPT charge controller that enables efficient charging via solar panels. Your 60 watt panel should be compatible as long as you use an appropriate DC adapter and the voltage of your panel does not exceed the maximum input voltage of the Power Station (MPPT solar panel input: 12-25V).

The LiFePO4 battery of the power station should cope well with the temperature conditions you have mentioned. However, very low temperatures can affect the battery capacity. In sub-zero temperatures, it is recommended to store the Powerstation in an insulated cool box and connect it to a power source to maintain battery capacity.
