I have the first version of the JBL Tuner. The switch-on sound is too loud for me, but here it is supposed to be quieter, which I think is good.
In addition, with the first version, the quietest volume setting was still too loud for my quiet multi-person office. Does anyone know whether the quietest level is now quieter?

As for the switch-on sound, I don't know the first JBL, I find the sound a bit too loud. But I only hear it once or twice a day.
At the quietest setting, I can hear what's being played at 50 cm. Any lower and I wouldn't understand anything. Fits.
