I have noticed that the positive terminal of my Pale Blue batteries gets very hot during the charging process. Is this normal behaviour or could it indicate a problem?

I have checked: yes, the positive terminal gets very hot in my case too. I assume that's normal. In any case, nothing has ever happened to me.

Yes, this is normal. I see this regularly with AA, AAA or even D batteries.
The positive terminal always gets hot during charging and the negative terminal is always at normal temperature.
