Question about DJI Mavic Pro

I have had the Mavic for nearly 5 months, an incredibly positive experience until recently. A week ago, I worryingly lost control of it; a controller stick error coupled with the Mavic uncontrollably climbing, running low on juice and flying away to an undefined home location. I managed to find it 20m away from the end of the recorded flight path with a broken gimbal and light damage. Thankfully no injuries. Similar experience?

Did an autostart (wanted it to wait 1m above ground on my commands), it decided to continue flying into a tree without any interaction from my side. Full damage, repair costs ca. CHF900. So, yes, similar experience which proved an insurance being really important, even if nobody was hurt, but next time...
