I have connected both panels to the Xtorm XP300U powerbank. Unfortunately, both panels only deliver approx. 70W. Despite strong sunlight. When I then connected the panels individually, both also supplied approx. 70W each. Somehow I can't combine the power. Do I have to set something special?
The Xtorm XP300U allows a maximum of 72 W (at max. 26 V) via the 6.5mm input. This means that the Powerstation is probably throttled.
Unfortunately, most power stations can only be charged relatively slowly via the Solapanels (and 12V connection). This has to do with the fact that the strong currents needed at low voltages to achieve high performance require thick cables and generate a lot of heat.
As far as I could see, the Xtorm XP300U unfortunately only has inputs for low voltages (max. 26 V). This means that the power station can only be charged relatively slowly in general, even via the supplied power supply unit.
I have two power stations from EcoFlow. They also have a 230 V input and you can therefore charge them very quickly via the socket (or an inverter). However, as soon as you want to charge them directly with solar energy - i.e. not via an inverter - they also charge relatively slowly.
According to the manufacturer, the Xtorm XP500 can be charged with both panels and a maximum power of 200 W.
