I have been using this monitor for a few weeks now. I use it with my MacBook 16". Unfortunately, I have the problem that the monitor no longer goes black after I have brought my MacBook out of sleep mode with a mouse movement. The monitor goes black briefly, but after a second it shows the login window again. This process of going black and switching on is repeated constantly. In addition, it bothers me that the monitor always goes black briefly after logging in until it really runs normally. Does anyone know what these two problems could be? Many thanks for your help.

I think it depends more on how the laptop copes with the USB-C than on the monitor.
I use the monitor with two laptops on the USB-C:
- HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2
- Lenovo Thinkpad X1 6th Gen
I have the keyboard and headset on the rear USB ports of the monitor. Mouse via Bluetooth directly coupled to each laptop.
I never have problems with the HP.
On the Lenovo I still have occasional problems;

at the beginning I had constant interruptions / reinitialisation of the monitor connection, then I threw down a few tools (Thunderbolt Controller, Powertoys), since then it works (happens maybe 1x/day, when quickly switching full screen vs. window).

When I bring my monitor out of "sleep mode", the login window also appears briefly, then the monitor goes black very briefly and then immediately displays the login window. After that, the monitor is stable and does not switch back to black all the time. I also have the feeling that something is wrong with the monitor. I would check with the manufacturer or seller.

I would say that it has a defect, but I would contact the manufacturer first and ask if it is due to the settings. LG Mathias

Hello Oliver. I have the same problem on my 16 inch MacBook Pro but with a different monitor. I would say it is a major problem with this notebook. This is the worst Apple product I know. Is the fan on your external monitor running all the time? It's a problem that thousands of users have with the 5300 Graphics Chip.... It only gets better with the 5600. Do you still use the monitor?
