I have attached the docking station to an Asus Vivo Flip. USB works but the HDMI screen does not work! It says something about: HDMI cable may not be supported. What do I have to do?

Defect is one possibility, but sometimes it helps to use a different HDMI cable. Or connect a power adapter, or connect everything and then remove the adapter from the unit and connect it again. Check if something changes in the device manager (refresh). Good Luck ;)

Maybe the connection is defective. I have the same adapter and HDMI was already defective and I had to replace it.
