I have an old computer and a new monitor with HDMI version 2 ports. I tried already the cable I have a neither work. How can I be sure that this cable will work? Is there any way to understand if this is HDMI version 2 compatible?

This should work, as HDMI 2 can support older versions of HDMI, but not vice versa. In any case it doesn't for a specific reason, you can contact us by email. :)
