I have an Asrock GZ390 Phantom Gaming 9 board here and I can't get the ICY BOX IB-865 to run. The boot process with the ICY Box connected takes 5 minutes. As soon as I disconnect the USB3 plug from the board, the PC starts within 10 seconds. If I connect the ICY Box to an older PC with a Gigabyte GA-Z77 X-UD5H board, the PC starts normally within a few seconds. The firmware on the ICY Box is up to date. Has anyone had similar experiences and possibly found a solution?

Have you already searched for settings in the BIOS regarding Legacy USB and xHCI, also regarding the Fasboot settings (e.g. instead of Full USB init only minimal init)? The controller in this reader is certainly older and will no longer comply with many newer standards.
