Question about LMP Mini

I have a Macbook and will soon be buying a 4k monitor. I want to connect it to my Macbook with an HDMI cable (which supports 4k) via this "LMP Mini" device. Is this possible without any loss of quality or other losses?

My Macbook 12 (USB-C, no Thunderbolt) can drive 4k on the external Eizo EV2785 without any problems. As I said before, this is at 30 Herz, but I don't see any difference to 60 Herz.

According to the information at https://lmp-adapter.com/product..., 4K/UHD is only supported at 24/25/30 Hz. Personally, I would look for a part that supports 4K at 60Hz. For example, the Elgato Thunderbolt 3 Mini Dock (HDMI, DisplayPort, LAN/RJ45) could be an option if your MacBook supports Thunderbolt 3 and a USB 3.0 port is enough.
