Question about Delock Monitor splitter HDMI

I have a laptop and would like to connect 2 monitors. First thought, a docking station but my laptop won't accept a picture transfer via the usb-c and it didn't work. Second thought was a hdmi splitter, I ordered one and noticed that it only copies the signal but does not extend it. My question now, is there a hdmi splitter that doesn't copy the picture but really "splits" it, I would like to use both monitors and not have the same picture twice. Many thanks in advance

The best thing to do is to ask the manufacturer yourself and describe your problem. Someone here at Digitec may also be able to help you. I'm sorry, I also bought the wrong part thinking I would use the monitor with 2 different contents and found out that this only works with a DisplayPort output or similar.

Unfortunately, it does not work with this device. You need a DisplayPort. Unfortunately, USB cannot be split, Sgnal is only copied, possibly even worse (flickering).
