I don't quite understand the drone categories, is it now a C2 drone as written in the product description? I've had it for a while and can't get out of it now with the "new" regulations.

Helpful answer

Good day
I have completed the normal online exam. A1/A3
The Evo 2 can also be taken on site (A2), provided that A1/A3 has been passed.
But A2 is no longer available in 2024.
A1/A3 is sufficient for various things, the distance to people and houses is already enormous with this drone.
Registration with the BAZ and insurance are also important.
Switzerland will adopt the EU drone regulations on 1 January 2023.
The open category regulates the operation of drones that are flown without a licence from the FOCA. The open category is divided into three sub-categories: A1, A2, A3. The vast majority of drones are operated in the open category.

A1/A3 - Proof of competence (small drone licence)

Registration and licensing at the FOCA in Switzerland
Registration, training & examination in the UAS.gate from the FOCA
