No, batteries are not rechargeable!
But you probably mean micro rechargeable batteries (AAA), which can be recharged.
Important! It says on the instruction manual: Only charge Ni-Mh (nickel-metal hydride) batteries.

Yes, I know that I can only recharge the rechargeable ones. I didn't express myself correctly. Because I had 'mistaken' my instructions for use, I wasn't sure whether 1.2 V Ni-MH would also work. When I inserted them, it flashed 'strangely' ;-)
