Question about Icy Box IB-DK2106-C
I bought the Icy Box as a docking station for the Lenove X1 Carbon which I also bought new. I have the problem that when I want to use the docking station with two monitors via HDMI, the two monitors only display a resolution of 1600x900. I have already tried to change something on the notebook, then I reset the monitors. It does not help. When I connect a monitor via VGA, I get 1920x1080 on VGA but only 1600x900 on HDMI. What else can I set?
Your notebook may not have a usb-c that supports DP. Try connecting a monitor directly to the notebook with HDMI. If this works, then it is almost certainly due to the USB-C.
