Question about ASUS Universal Dock

I was not at all satisfied with the ASUS Universal Dock and gave it up (after the second unsuccessful exchange).
As a replacement, I bought the "Club 3D USB Type C MST Dock with charging function (HDMI, DisplayPort, USB 3.0, LAN/RJ45)" and was and still am satisfied with it (however, it went defective after ~1.5 years.). I got my money back and bought the same model again, which has been running without problems for ~3/4 years).

I also bought the dock. At first it didn't work either because the power supply unit was defective. This was replaced by Digitec without any problems.
Unfortunately, however, the dock is really bad, it is now defective. Since it always got very hot, I assume there is a thermal problem.
Unfortunately, even the minidock that came with the notebook is now defective.
I always thought ASUS was actually a quality brand...
