So these 3m DisplayPort cables have DisplayPort version 1.4, so they support 1440p at 240Hz. With your 1.5m cables, of course, I can't tell which version they have.

The length makes no difference here (at least under 10 metres), it depends on the bandwidth or the DisplayPort version.
