Question about Delock HDMI (Typ A) — USB Typ C

I am looking for a connection cable from my laptop with HDMI (OUT) to monitor with USB-C (IN). In filter function, it is not clear to me where the difference between port A and port B is. Can someone help me. Thank you.

The cable only goes from USB-C to HDMI monitor. You're describing the opposite way, which doesn't work.
