Question about Gigaset C530 Ip
I already own the gigaset 850 (which is not IP). If I buy the gigaset 530 IP, can I connect my 850 device to the DECT station of the 530 IP and also make VoIP calls? Same question, but phrased differently: Are VoIP calls dependent on the DECT station or the terminal?
It is the station that provides the functionality.
You can pair pct phones that are not the same model, but the configuration menus will only be available on the model that matches the station.
I have even paired Phillips handsets to a Gigaset IP base in the past.
As long as the base station works, these handsets will work too.
