I already have a keyboard with a Unifying adapter, is the adapter of the mouse also compatible with the keyboard? So that I only have to use one adapter.

Yes, this should work for all Logitech wireless peripherals that can be used with a Unifying adapter.
I use the K800 keyboard with the M705 mouse on 1 Unifying receiver without any problems.
