I think that's one of the stupidest questions I've ever read.

Simple answer:
A light press on the button with the printer off serves to turn the printer on, a LONG press with the printer on turns the printer off.
I don't think it serves any other purpose.

There is a push button to the right of the display in the black frame, short press = on, long press = off
