How is the print quality for photo printing and how quickly are the cartridge colours used up when printing on photo paper?

The print quality is above average (without being outstanding), I cannot judge the consumption for photo printing, I print photos too rarely for that. All in all, it's a very good printer and I would give it a rating of 8 (out of 10) for its all-round features, quality and speed.
