How is the picture quality of this converter on a modern 4K TV (e.g. LG OLED)?

I bought a Scart to HDMI converter 2-3 years ago and the converted picture quality from my Xbox (2002) is a bit darker and possibly a bit blurrier than the original picture. I can't remember where I bought it or whether it was a cheap product.
