Question about Pure ChargePAK Evoke Play

The battery is installed in the radio. It then remains there and is charged via the radio's power supply, just as if it had always been a battery radio.
The battery is only sold separately so that the radio can be sold more cheaply to buyers who want to use it stationary.
Installation is not particularly difficult. The instructions come with the battery.
