Question about Samyang 14mm f/2.8 ED AS IF UMC - Canon EF
How does this lens differ in image quality from the Walimex Pro 14mm (Walimex Pro Lens 14mm, f/2.8, Canon?). Is it worth paying this 100.- more?
The image quality of the Samyang is good. I use the lens for landscape photography, so it doesn't bother me that there is no autofocus. I have no comparison with the Walimex.
In my opinion, it's the same manufacturer!
I use the Samyang mainly for astro and landscape photography and I think it's great!
But watch out! No autofocus!
I would say definitely. Samyang is now very good when it comes to lenses. The photo is very sharp with little distortion. Need the lens as a wedding photographer to shoot rooms and halls. Remember that there is no autofocus.
