It is well-suited for subjects ranging from landscapes to architecture and astrophotography. The optical design includes a pair of aspherical elements and three high-refractive-index (HR) elements that control spherical aberrations and distortions. Additionally, two extra-low dispersion elements are used to reduce color fringing and chromatic aberration while enhancing clarity and color accuracy. An ultra-multicoating has also been applied to limit stray light and ghosting, improving contrast and color rendition in challenging lighting conditions.
