You need to check the manufacturer for the printer model to see the types of filament that can be printed. As a general rule, all 3d printers can print PLA and PTEG as well as TPU. Other types of filaments require either a closed/heated chamber or different extruders (carbon or glass fiber filaments).
Hey, the nozzle diameter is still a topic; 1.75 is usually suitable for standard small printers.... But yes, there are smaller and larger ones too... PLA prints well on any printer... and if you use 500g to 1kg rolls, they should fit in any printer.... For precisely this type of 2.5kg roll, I’ve printed a special unwinding system so that they fit.... For anything over 1 kilo, you’ll need to check whether they’ll physically fit or if you need to build something else.
