You need to check the manufacturer for the printer model to see the types of filament that can be printed. As a general rule, all 3d printers can print PLA and PTEG as well as TPU. Other types of filaments require either a closed/heated chamber or different extruders (carbon or glass fiber filaments).

PLA prints well on any printer... and if you use 500g to 1kg rolls, they should fit in any printer....
