Question about Brother MFC-L8390CDW
How can I rearrange the main functions such as fax, copy, scan on the touch panel? Unfortunately, all previous instructions ("long press", "move") do not work. I actually want to hide "Fax" completely because I neither have a telephone cable plugged in nor do I need a fax function. Nevertheless, the icon appears in the first (annoying) position. I can't find anything in the built-in web server or in the manual either. Does anyone know more?
I haven't found out either, but I have defined favourites for the most common tasks. Favourite 1, for example, makes the scanner ready to scan into a defined folder on Dropbox. Just insert the document and press ok.

I have created some favourites and you can display this favourites view instead of the FAX/Copy/Scan... favourites view.

Thank you for your suggestion with the favourites. I'll take a closer look at that.
I assume I can also use it to assign more descriptive function titles, such as "PDF with OCR" (instead of "Text") or "JPG in folder" (instead of "Image")?
What I also haven't found out yet:
Is it really not possible to save a "PDF with OCR" directly to a folder on the target device, just have it opened with a target app (and only from there save it somewhere manually?)
