Hi, I still have some old fuses at home and I'd like to know if using this power strip could reduce the chances of my fuse blowing? I have the impression to see that the power strip is able to turn off before my fuse does its duty is a switch the red button? Thanks in advance!

This power strip is fitted with a 16A thermal circuit breaker that protects against overloads by cutting off the current if the load exceeds this current, which can prevent your fuse from blowing too quickly. The red switch with indicator light is used to switch the power strip on and off, but it doesn't automatically cut off the power in the event of an overload, that's the job of the built-in thermal circuit breaker. What's more, the power strip has overvoltage protection up to 13,500 A, which protects your appliances from voltage spikes without necessarily tripping your domestic fuse.

In short, this multi-socket can reduce the risk of your fuse blowing in the event of an overload thanks to its thermal circuit breaker, while protecting your appliances against power surges. The red switch is an on/off button with indicator light, but the automatic cut-out in the event of an overload is provided by the built-in thermal circuit breaker.
