Question about Delock USB Typ C — DisplayPort

Hi Community, I bought this cable hoping to connect my monitor to the Macbook Pro 15" 2019. Unfortunately, no screen is recognised and it stays dark. If I do via a USB-C dongel with HDMI it is recognised but not via this cable. No idea why it doesn't work. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks

With me mii MacBook Pro 13-inch 2018 and various monitors (Dell, LG) the cable works flawlessly and on every USB-C socket on the MacBook.
