Is it possible to remove the normal smaller toast slices without putting your fingers in the appliance or burning them? This is not possible with our current Russell Hobbs, even if you lift the lever manually the slices don't come up to the edge.... Thanks for feedback

Answer

No, the grids cannot be lifted manually. Small pieces of bread have to be taken out with the tip of a knife - of course only after you have unplugged the power cable :-)
