Imperial Dabman i205
FM, DAB+, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth
Hello I now have an old Streamium device from Philips where I can no longer receive all the stations and the device constantly hangs up or cannot find the radio stations even though it is connected to the LAN. Advantage, I can play lists directly from the NAS there. I can't decide between the Pure Evoke F3 and the Imperial Dabman i205. I feel that the Imperial is more appealing, especially after reading the reviews (easy to use). The Imperial also has a LAN connection, which the Pure Evoke does not. But the Pure Evoke is smaller and lighter. The unit would sit on a small shelf next to the desk. The Imperial is available in white, which would again be a plus point for the Imperial. I have read that the DAB stations don't come in so well. That would be the problem for me, at best. The unit would be about 2 metres away from a north-facing window. This could also be a problem with both devices. I would use the following functions: - Internet radio stations (if possible, easy to find and save) - DAB+ radio (e.g. Radio Swiss Pop etc. I can no longer play via the Internet with my Philips device). Sometimes I just want light background music. - Spotify - Play lists via external hard drives or directly from NAS Do you have any experience with the above functions that you can share with me? Thanks and greetings Monika
