Question about Kyocera Ecosys MA3500cix
Hello, I have just bought the Kyocera Ecosys MA350CIX copier printer, which is well described as an airPrint compatible printer, but I can't manage to connect it to the network.In order to print wirelessly using airPrint from an Apple mobile phone, I need to buy a wireless card such as the ib-36 and ib-51 (almost 500 francs more). If this is the case, I will return the product as the description is wrong! Could someone please answer my question or help me set up this printer on my network? I have this printer in my network connected to the router with the network cable (RJ45), the "AirPrint" works without any problems.
Not to be confused with WLAN, the printer is not WLAN compatible, you have to connect it to the network via cable! The module you described is used to make the printer WLAN compatible.
as you can't connect your printer to the router via LAN, if you're with SwissCom (without advertising), you can install a WLAN-box that acts as a repeater with your router next to your printer, and connect the printer <=> VLAN-box via LAN.

Our printer is connected to the network via the LAN cable.
The mobiles are connected to the network via Wifi.
Printing from mobiles runs smoothly on all iOS, Android and Windows devices.
No additional cards required.
