Question about Sangean MMR-99 DAB+ (Midnight Black)

Hello I am a senior citizen and I apologise for my questions about the Sangean MMR-99 DAB+. I have had the device for 2 days. Firstly, when I press DAB, the device searches and finds "exclusively" a presumably Arabic station, clearly and distinctly! Pressing automatic search does not bring up any other stations, why ? Second question, if I listen to FM and a station changes from FM to DAB+ in a month, for example, does the radio automatically switch to DAB+ or can I only find the station under DAB? Third question, do I need to remove the aerial for DAB and DAB+ (I think so)? In general, I can find almost nothing, or nothing at all, about DAB or DAB+ in the enclosed operating instructions.
